Business Development Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, goal-oriented Business Development Manager to drive sales, expand market share, and strengthen customer relationships in the kitchen appliances segment. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, partnering with architects, interior designers, specifiers and builders, and promoting brand presence across Karnataka.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Development
- Drive revenue growth through retail, distribution, and project-based sales (builders, architects, and interior-designer networks).
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and execute region-specific strategies to penetrate untapped markets.
Business Expansion
- Identify and convert large B2B leads (real estate developers, commercial kitchens, hospitality sector).
- Propose and execute retail showroom expansion plans in key markets.
Customer Engagement
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and handle escalations efficiently.
- Conduct consumer research and feedback sessions to inform product positioning.
Marketing Support
- Work with marketing to execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and exhibitions.
- Provide market insights and competitor analysis to support brand positioning.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in kitchen appliances, modular kitchen or home improvement segments.
- Exposure to both retail and project sales.
- Master's degree in Business Administration - Marketing
Key Competencies & Skills
- Proven track record in sales and business development within home/kitchen appliances or consumer durables.
- Strong network among dealers, distributors, architects and builders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead regional teams.
